Dibond composite panels (signs and plaques)
UV prints on a dibond composite panel.
Dibond panels are very hard and light at the same time. The composite is two layers of thin aluminium with a plastic core, most often PE or PP. Very stiff despite not being thick.
The most damage-resistant material available for printing advertisements and large format graphics
Dibond panels come in several types, depending on their thickness and the colour of the outer layers:
- white on both sides, 3 mm thickness, several layers of aluminium, glossy or matt
- white on both sides, 2 mm thickness, several layers of aluminium, glossy or matt
- white/silver sides, 3 mm thickness, several layers of aluminium, matt
- black on both sides, 3 mm thickness, several layers of aluminium, glossy or matt
- other colours (blue, yellow, red) available by custom order, only for larger quantities.
Dibond panels can be milled to shape, fitted with holes and glued with other materials. They can be used for display screens (the most damage-resistant material, used in outdoor stands), for advertisement and information (signs, letters, pylons), screens, small walls, or even for covering buildings.
They are resistant to all weather conditions.
Some advertisements last more than ten years.
