Bookcrossing – set books free!
A public book-exchange booth allows people to share the books they’ve already read.

We offer a durable, weatherproof, and spacious booth designed exactly for this purpose. Its key advantage is the ability to incorporate custom decoration on the metal structure, the roof, and the transparent side panels. The roof can feature the coat of arms of the city, while the transparent walls can display graphics commemorating, for example, the sponsoring institution or municipality, a famous writer, or a literary character.

One example is the booth installed in Świdnica — featuring the city’s coat of arms and a portrait with a quote from the renowned Polish writer Marek Hłasko. It was unveiled in June 2024 to mark the “Year of Marek Hłasko.” In previous years, designs featured Wisława Szymborska, Stanisław Lem, and Cyprian Kamil Norwid.
Another outdoor library in Marcinowice, located near the Cultural and Library Centre, is decorated with a locomotive — can you guess after whom the street is named?
