Brass plaques
Tablice z mosiądzu wykonywane metodą chromatografii (wytrawiania) lub z nadrukiem UV.
Znaki graficzne są wybierane chemicznie w mosiądzu, w wyniku tego procesu są one wgłębione i mogą pozostać albo w kolorze naturalnego metalu, albo zostać pokryte specjalną farbą utwardzaną, która powoduje kontrast na tle barwy tablicy.
Powierzhnie tablicy pozostawia się matową, szlifuje (szczotkowanie) lub poleruje na połysk. Końcowym etapem jest pokrycie lakierem bezbarwnym o grubej powłoce, co zapewnia zabezpieczenie przed utlenianiem metalu i odbarwianiem na wiele lat.
Rozmiary: max. 120x80 cm.
Grubość mosiądzu: 1.0 mm, 2.0 mm, 5.0 mm, 10 mm.
Tablica może być wytrawiana normalnie (znaki graficzne wklęsłe w metalu) lub w negatywie (wówczas litery są wypukłe a powierzchnia wgłębiona.
Etched with acid.
Brass is a popular metal for commemorative or information plaques, letters and other sign elements.
Our brass plaques are etched with acid (forming deep grooves in the metal surface) which are then polished or painted in (black and white, monochrome, or multi-colour, including logos).
The plaques are then brushed and covered in oxidation-preventing agent. Their durability is 2 years minimum.
Plaques are mounted on walls with screws, the screw heads covered with brass caps. Our plaques have 4 such screws, one in each corner.
Clients should supply us with a digital graphics design to be put on a plaque, and make sure such a design is possible to etch.
