Prints are most commonly produced using UV PRINTING on Dibond-type composite board, a material resistant to weather conditions, mechanical damage and wind-induced deflection.

The frame is the foundation of every cube. For our products we use aluminium – a material valued for its corrosion resistance and excellent strength-to-weight ratio. Display cubes manufactured by Metaloplastyka have a partly welded and partly bolted structure, providing stability while allowing the product to be dismantled into smaller components.

Apart from the one-piece canopy, the remaining parts can be transported easily, reducing operating costs during repeated deployments. In addition, the system is fitted with four angle trims masking the vertical edges of the panels, powder-coated in colours from the RAL palette.

UV printing technology and the effect of illumination

The key to a striking visual effect is the combination of precise printing and an intelligent lighting system. Each illuminated display cube is fitted with four prints produced on 3 mm clear solid polycarbonate. UV printing in CMYK-WHITE-CMYK mode provides high colour saturation together with the appropriate level of light transmission.

The illumination covers the entire surface of the panels (excluding technical margins), eliminating unsightly shadows and ensuring an even glow. Importantly, the graphics are UV-resistant, which prevents fading caused by sunlight, and are also resistant to changing weather conditions such as rain or frost. Attractive mounting screws complete the finish.

Safety and stability in all outdoor conditions

Displaying content outdoors means exposure to wind and uneven ground. Our illuminated exhibition cube has been designed to meet these challenges without compromise. Each unit contains a specially designed internal area for concrete-block ballast (6 to 10 pieces depending on the format), effectively protecting the structure against overturning even in strong gusts of wind.

To ensure perfect levelling on every surface, the cube is fitted with four adjustable feet – either steel screws or plastic feet, selected according to the type of ground (concrete, lawn, paving blocks). This approach ensures that the display remains safe for its surroundings and intact throughout the event, which is a priority for organisers of public exhibitions.
