AISI 316 profile balustrade – durability and resistance

AISI 316 stainless steel is valued in applications where a structure must maintain high resistance to corrosion and environmental conditions. Compared with AISI 304 steel, it contains molybdenum, which increases resistance to chlorides. For this reason, AISI 316 is used, among other applications, in environments with increased corrosive aggressiveness.

The material performs well on terraces, stairs, balconies and circulation routes where the structure is exposed to changing temperatures, moisture and precipitation. In coastal locations, however, regular surface cleaning is still important – even stainless steel requires proper care, particularly in the presence of salt and deposits.

80 x 20 mm and 20 x 10 mm profiles with precise TIG welding

The balustrade structure is made from robust 80 x 20 mm and 20 x 10 mm profiles. Their appropriate combination makes it possible to create a cohesive geometric form that fits well with modern architecture. The profiles can serve both structural and aesthetic functions, emphasising the minimalist character of the entire balustrade.

Individual components are joined using TIG welding. This technique enables precise joints, particularly where both strength and the appearance of welds are important.
