UV printing with selective backlighting

UV printing can be used to create a print intended for backlighting only in selected areas chosen by the designer. This is possible by using an appropriate configuration of CMYK print layers with white and opaque black ink.
Depending on requirements, we use from 3 to 9 print layers and can print a daytime image that, when the backlight is switched on, reveals a night sky with illuminated stars, the moon and, for example, lighthouses.
